Tensas ducks
 

I am at Tensas deer hunting and have been jumping some mallards if anyone is interested. It closes the 27 here

I was thinking about going...what area you seeing these ducks? Also is snarky rd washed out at the Little Bear Check station where they changed that culvert?

I am hunting the Sharky area. Ducks are in the sloughs and Nick lake.

Sharky at Alligator Bayou is the only place I know washed out

Are you seeing any deer?

So I'm guess that the bridge on the wheeler trail is crossable?

No Chip, they opened a secondary trail to get to the back. Locals call it "the white gate"

Not seeing much Craig nor is anyone I am talking to. Been a tough year here. Should be the middle of the 2nd rut here.

The area we hunted back in early Dec., I saw 14 deer [3 racked Bucks] in 3.5 day of hunting and just off the Tensas property we usually saw several deer coming and going while it was still dark. I killed a Doe with ML.

The other 3 people in our group, also saw several deer hunting in near by areas.

I wish. Seen 3 deer from the stand in 7 days.

Jchief.. Are you gonna be there this weekend? I will be heading up there tomorrow morning.. You still at hunters bend campground?? If so what spot.. Ill come pass by!!
