Good place to eat on the NO Riverwalk

Made the trip today to NO and figures I'd take the little man to the aquarium while we were here. What is a good place to grab a bite that's close to the aquarium? I hate the city so I don't want to have to walk around too many of these weird-o's looking for something!!!!

Well the wife wanted to try Central Grocery cause she loves the muff :rotfl:! Walked all the way over there and they were closed. We tried a little place next door and it was alright. The service was horrible! They're just not as friendly on that side as we are over here..... Not to mention the hobos always asking for money!!

That is why i posted the phone number .
as someone who works down there every day i have found that The new orleans folks are a breed among themselves. Not saying they are bad ,just different.

Yea.... Never thought to call! O well, had a good time with the family either way. The wife begged to go to the farmers market so we went. Not at all what I was expecting! I wanted to see some damn vegetables and home made chow chow or something!!! Not no damn voodoo wood carvings and knock-off sunglasses! Was an experience though!

They used to have vegetables back when I was a kid. Now it's just a bunch of tourist trap junk. It's an experience for sure though

Saying they are not as friendly on that side as we are over here, judging All of southeast Louisiana by going to New Orleans is really being closed minded. Its like judging all of Texas going to the inner city of Houston. Not being critical just a lot more to southeast Louisiana than New Orleans.
