2/8 Deep South
 

Myself, Paul Myers and Meaux Fishing, Bob, and 3 others made a trip out yesterday with Josh Howard of Deep South Charters and Gray Long as our deckhand.

This was my 3rd trip with Josh and won't be my last. Started looking for wahoo. Hit a dozen or so rigs with only 1 black fin and 1 amberjack to show. Went to Josh't honey hole for AJ, marked a bunch of fish, but no takers. Hit several other rigs and still nada.

Last stop on the way in, we had 3 black fin and 2 AJ. True to form with our trips with Josh. We caught 4 more blackfin and 2 more AJ. After talking to several other boats, we did good from the sound of it.

While we didn't slam them, Josh stayed out till dark and him and Gray busted their azz's to make our trip a good one. I will be going back with him.

It's nice to have a hard working captain,nice trip.

Don't forget about all the fish that had to go back.... A nice gag, a big endangered red snapper, a cobia that we jigged up and I broke the hook on

And one of the smaller jacks is an Almaco not an AJ Jude

And I caught the big jack!

Also, we did better than Gray did today!
