i need to do the same thing... about how much did it cost?
|
Springs were $24.00 each
U-bolt Kits were $12.50 each (U-bolts, nuts, washers, plates) Large Bolts were $3.50 each Total Cost $80.00 plus tax I did stop by a couple of other places and just the springs were around $35-$40 each. I had already redone everything else on my trailer last fall but he did tell me that he carries all that stuff too (bunk board brackets, hubs, radial trailer tires, etc.) |

Rust prevention tip: Once a year, take an old hand towel, dip it in car oil and saturate every part on a trailer that can rust, especially the springs and their hardware and you almost totally eliminate rust. My trailer is 12 years old with the original springs, axle, etc. and I mostly use it in salt water and it has very little rust on it.

About to change mine, they are getting awful rusty. Changed before; it's not to bad. Want to get it done before i get stuck changing them on the side of the road!
