Need Trigger Job - Gunsmith in Lake Charles

I need to get a trigger job on a Remington Model 7. Can anyone recommend a gunsmith in Lake Charles?

Thanks,

Dan

gunsmiths

I would recommend this gentleman in the Leesville area:

Max's Gun Repair, 337-208-4705 cell
337-238-9140- shop

It is worth the drive to get someone who knows his craft well. A lot of bad things have happened to people getting trigger jobs on rifles...particularly Remingtons.

Hunter's Supply is the name of the gun shop. Earl Gautreaux is the gunsmith/owner. Good people, IMO

Dan.....most Remington's have a trigger like in this picture. If your's is like this, all you need is a medium and vairly small flat head screwdriver and a couple other things. It is fairly easy to make the adjustments.

I lowered my trigger pull a couple of years ago. I also have a copy of the instructions on how to make the adjustment. The penciles are pointing to the adjusment screws.

Let me know if you want the instructions.
