North or South ?
I generally fish South, but tomorrow we are going to take a ride up-river for a change of pace...

Parkside puts you right in the middle of things, Sam Houston is another good Westfork launch...
Houston River launch is nice, you can run down to WF... Use caution as it is stumpy !

My son and I fished today north of white oak. Caught three pickles in the highline ditch and at the mouth of the ditch. They were in deep water. Caught on blk/blu 1/4 oz jig with saphire trailer and he was throwing a watermelon magic speed bug. They were fat lil suckers though! I didn't talk to anyone catching anything. The water was 58 to 60 degrees everywhere we went. We thre the whole box at them!

I was in the aluminum custom flat with the black mega! I heard yall in the ditch! Yall came in behind us! I fished the four corners hard early! When we got to deeper water we had our bites! Water isnt real pretty but fishable! I think we were getting bit by white perch also. thry would bite the trailers off while reeling them up.
