Big Lake Reds 3/8/13
 

Headed to Big Lake on Friday afternoon to try to catch my first reds of the year. Ended up catching 15 fishing gulp shrimp using a popin cork because of the strong winds. Worked the banks along the east side, north of the 4 weir. Fished by myself, but still had a great time reeling in some brutes and sippin on a few beers. I had a hard time getting 5 keepers under the 27 in size limit.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys. I have been wanting to post for a while now but never took pictures of my trips. I have a different phone now making it easier to take pics and post. I hope to continue posting furture trips, good and bad. I really enjoy reading the reports on this forum.
