Wanted: old boats with FINS
 

i'm looking for old boats from the 50's and early 60's with fins on the back of them like the old 57 chevys.......if you know of one sitting in someone's yard or barn...please send me a pm..

I think they have one for sale on I believe it east prien lake rd that runs in front of home depot in Lake Charles, it just east of HD on north side of road.

Yes sir, I think they have flea markets there sometimes.

also looking for antique outboards...pre-1963...preferably mercury's but will consider others...

oh yea..i visit that site as much as i come here ...actually thats the site that got me hooked on these old boats and motors lol....i have a rare 1958 Herter's Flying fish already and a 1962 white mercury 50hp to go on it...just always on the lookout for more of them...i'll be restoring mine

back in the day... how much does these boats draft ?? 8" or shallower ?? might be a good mud-flat marsh grass red-fish catching boat !!! a go-devil on one fo these with a re-inforced aluminum hull.... indestructible...

Super cool.... I wold like to cat around the lake with that and show it off.
