I've never been big on any of the "redneck" or "cajun" shows as i feel like their intent was to make fun of us coon a$$e$, but I gave into Duck Dynasty 110%. I don't care if it's scripted or not. It's nice to see genuine people who tell it like it is, value family, and pray/break bread together. Would love to take the family over to their church day but I imagine that would be tough to actually get in.

Good role models for everyone

These guys are awesome, I've been a fan forever and have used their cams and other products since I started buying about 16 years ago. It's sad though that now when you have their stuff you get looked at like you're a bandwagon hunter or supporter, when in reality I like to support them even more because if their positive influence on a stage that big.

I don't like the scripted format now, but understand that you have to keep the viewers entertained and market it to reach a broader fan base - more power to them!

If you see me or my kids wearing their gear and using their calls, don't hate - I like to send my money to people with backbones and similar faith/beliefs. Good luck seeing them wear a choot'em shirt though.....

I used to have a few of those old tapes too but I have no clue where they are.

it's nice to watch TV with the kids in the room and not have to worry if they will see and hear the wrong things....... Jack!
