I Still Have Oranges = Fresh OJ
Even though I have given away hundreds of oranges from the two trees in my yard I still have oranges on the trees. And both trees are already blooming for next years crop.
It was nice to go out there this morning and pick oranges for juicing. I usually just mix both the Blood orange juice with the Hamlin juice but this time I decided to keep the two juices separate. I almost forgot to take pictures until I was almost finished juicing the Hamlins. http://i1183.photobucket.com/albums/...e/DSC01448.jpg Blood oranges sliced and ready to juice. Notice the bloodier(really red) and those not as red. Here again I kept the two separate until I finished and then mixed the two. http://i1183.photobucket.com/albums/...e/DSC01452.jpg The difference between all three. http://i1183.photobucket.com/albums/...e/DSC01453.jpg The richer redder Blood orange juice before mixing the two. Almost as red as tomato sauce. http://i1183.photobucket.com/albums/...e/DSC01457.jpg After mixing the two Blood orange juices. http://i1183.photobucket.com/albums/...e/DSC01458.jpg Both are really super rich and sweet! |
