serious koozie question

Do any of the serious fishermen on here have any experience with the 40oz beer koozies recently on the market. I'm thinking I can add 50 casts mimimum if I save the time of swapping out the standard 10 oz beer with the new 40 oz ones. My concern lies in the thermal properties of these koozies.

I would imagine they aren't very reliable

The real question is; What does this koozie do that a paper bag won't?
