Hog Lard on boat trailer
Someone once told me you can put hog lard on the axles, leaf springs and etc. to help against salt water rusting your trailer. Has anyone held of this?

i've heard of soaking leaf springs in oil for a good while...

Think I'd use waterproof grease. Lard attracts ants.
