Vermillionville

Can anyone here let me know if the public is allowed to fish the pond that is on the side of surrey st in vermillionville, i know if RATDOG was here he could tell me cause that is his stomping ground, and thinking about it like that it may not be safe for me to go there if RATDOG figures out who i am, it is kind of close to the house, a lot closer than lake martin, and i would like to check it out, so i can feed the urge after work sometimes, fishing the pond in fabacher field sometimes but want to try elsewhere, caught this little guy in fabacher pond, second biggest i have caught in there, still he had some spunk, took me a little bit extra to get him on land

I don't know what happened to that pond at Faubacher. My friend lives by it and when he first moved there years ago we used to catch alot of nice fish. I haven't been there in years but my friend says its nothing like it used to be.

I was coaching my daughters softball practice last night and my asst coach was telling me that he knows a guy that has been catching 5 pound bass in the Girard Park pond! He said he was going try after practice.

i talked to a guy last week that frequently fishes there, he said and showed(pics) that he catches a few nice ones in there every once in a while

there is some kind of grass taking over in there now, last week you could only fish in one spot from the bank, yesterday the wind had it all pushed up against the side that the dock is on, so i was able to fish a little bit, till i was invade by a soccer celebration party hahaha

What happened is the water is super clear and the fish grew up and are sick of spinner baits worms and rattle traps I've caught several good ones from there. Use floro and finesse baits like wacky worms. Or frogs early and late. If they get a good look at your bait you can forget it. D$&n Florida Bass.

Dawg 04-11-2013 11:46 AM

You can not fish the one next to vermillionville but if you go around by the tennis courts there is a pond there
