Thunder chicken down!!

My dad came up to Oklahoma to do a little turkey hunting with my brother and I last week and we had a couple great days of hunting together. We set up about 200 yards from where we had roosted them from the night before. Set out 2 hens and one jake decoy. About 30 minutes after we herd them come off the roost 7 hens walked right past our set up and 3 jakes followed them. The jakes stayed in our decoy spread for about 10 minutes gobbling and strutting like crazy while the Tom stayed about 100 yards back. Finally the 3 jakes moved off and the Tom came in running!! My dad shot when he got about 25 yards away and flat out missed!! I told him to shoot again, he missed two more times. He was ready to haul butt back to Louisiana after the first day but we talked him in to staying and trying agin. We hunted again that afternoon with no luck. The next morning we went out a little earlier and found them roosting in the same spot. We set up on them again and it all went down the same way but this time he put some lead in that toms head!!
