power pole height

I know it depends on which model and how it is mounted, but can someone tell me approximately how high the top of the PP is above the transom in the stowed position. I am considering the 8' or 10' version, but I want to make sure I can back the boat into the stall when it is on the trailer. I'm wondering how much higher (if it is higher) it sits than the center console.

I have the 8 ft powerpole, it is 4 ft tall from the top of the mounting plate and I would assume the 10 ft would be 5 ft.

It's almost even with the top of my motor (175 Suzuki)

Thanks for the replies. My stall is a little over 9 FT and that leaves a little over 3ft of clearance for my motor. I think the 10 FT blade will be tight.Attachment 49637Attachment 49638

Mine was higher than motor also. I had the 8'. If you can the 10'er I would go with it! PP in down position is going to be half of length.

They need to come out with a braket with a pin and hinge so you can lay it own in the boat. Kind of like a folding trailer tongue
