GPS Mounting
1 Attachment(s)
Boat wiring is being taken care of and I having the GPS installed while the wiring is being done. I want to mount my new GPS on the top of my center counsel instead of in the dash like it is now. I would like to use a swivel mount similar to this one but worried about it restricting my view while running. Can anyone that had their GPs mounted like this please post pictures and example of the mounts. Thanks.

I have a hummingbird 998 mounted that way on a 240lts and have had no problems. Make sure and get the bigger mounting ball and arm if mounting a decent sized unit.

It actually works really well here and doesn't impede my vision.
