Advice for fishing Leeville area

I will be fishing out of Leeville for my first time thurs-sat. I'm not asking for specific places, but do any of you have advice for general areas to fish or what they are hitting down there? I will only be making this trip once a year, so you don't have to worry about me crowding up "your spot".

Thanks in advance.

Head south

Better southeast towards grand isle, or southwest?

Either way
They should be in back of the islands and on the gulf side
May want to also try the reefs in the bay

I fish Leeville in the summer months and alway head out to fournation islands. DOA's and live shrimp under a cork always get my limits. Usually pick up truot under birds on the way to the islands.

The trout are at the islands if the wind allows you to get there.
