Old Checkers in Moss Bluff

I usually know what's being built around our area because of my job or my moms. I haven't heard anything of what's going on at the old Checkers. Anybody have an insight of what is going to be there. I did hear somebody say they heard a Raising Canes but it would have to be drive thru only which I think I've seen one in Baton Rouge.

I heard its suppose to be another burger joint, opened by the same guy that owned the checkers. Either way, we could use another eating place in the bluff.

My wife filled up there today.

About a week ago, we passed there and saw that there was "stuff" on the store shelves. Any one know if this is new owners???

It'll be a Hey Man..
And the previous owner of checkers ain't around the bluff anymore

Still owns the building though, and coincidence that his last name was Haymon, and the name of the new restaurant is "hey man"? I think not...

huntin fool 05-20-2013 12:51 PM

I thought of that too lol. Ill ask his relative and see. To my understanding he lost the building and someone else took it over.
