Another bank that is anti-2nd Amendment!

I've been working on getting my firearms co. set up for every aspect of what it will take to be successful...Including accepting credit cards. Since we do plan to have a website up and running soon, I figured that it would only help if I had it set up to accept credit cards on the site as well....

Well, this morning, I get a phone call from some intellectual sounding person in FL asking if I planned to sell firearms online. I told her yes. She told me that their company doesn't work with businesses that sell firearms online, only face to face. When I asked her why, she would only tell me that it was company policy. I asked if she understood that I'm not shipping the to some random persons door without regard for laws and safety, she said their company wouldn't be willing to work with me. At that point I asked her if the line was being recorded and, she said yes. I replied that I hope the management would listen to my thoughts after we got off the phone...I can't really repeat here the thoughts I gave her to relay in message!

So, if you're looking for a credit card processing company, First Data Corporation is NOT one I would recommend!

A little better, yes...Made any difference?...Not one bit.

My local rep was floored when I called and told her what her company had determined! She's put some pretty serious time into this with multiple trips to my office.

Use payment alliance through the NRA. It has lowest fee's I have seen and you can do everything through a virtual terminal, so you can just use a PC. We use our PC and phones to take payment, it is a nice setup, and only $10 a month plus whatever the cc fee is, it varies by card.

If you join the NRA business alliance they have deals with all kinds of gun friendly vendors, I have found the insurance and banking most useful, it is almost impossible to do business without being a member.
