Frontier 2104

Looking to get into a frontier 2104 with a yammy 4 stroke, powerpole, trolling motor, onboard charger, humminbird 898, amd trim tabs, for around 38-40k. What dealer would be able to come close to that and ir willing to negotiate on the price? Also who has the best service?

PaulMyers 06-09-2013 07:30 PM

Bought one a year ago and never looked back! There price and the service is hard to beat. Kyle will take as much time as you need and will not rush you or push you in any way. If you need to take a ride in one there are a few people on here that wouldn't mind including myself!

Kyle and Lake Area are the best!

Let me tell you this story about Lake Area Marine. I bought a trailer from them for my flat boat. When I drove it home to Deridder, I kept hearing a noise. I looked at the wheels when I got home and Lake Area had forgot to tighten the lug nuts, and the lug nut holes were now warped. Well, that sounds bad, but what impressed me is how they took ownership of their mistake. They came all the way to Deridder and picked up my trailer, fixed it and then brought it back to me. Anyone can make a mistake, it's how you take responsibility for mistakes that separates a good business from a mediocre one. I was impressed from Lake Area Marine and would buy a boat from them.....and might!

what are the pros/cons of the open series 21ft... vs the meridian 21ft?

inchspinner 06-11-2013 09:32 AM

From being in both, i see the open is limited on dry storage, merid has jump seats another live well counter sunk rod storage plus up front storage....list goes on....do u have kids? Others will elaborate im sure

2104 Looks way better on the inside and has a 50 gallon tank vs 43 in the 210. Also the 210 looks like an unfinished boat. Basically Roll gunnal boat with a cap.

The 2104 is probably 4-5 grand more and heavier so id say the ride has to be better..
It eats the chop no problem! And dry ride.
That is all.....

the open may be a little more economic... prob worth it to go with the meridian. and my wife hates the "spray on look" lol... thanks!

21 open series is plain jane

210 is capped version tweener model...clean decks, same storage as 2104, jump seats, etc....But it has the splatter paint floor

2104 is fully lined and clean looking

I'd put a 175 Suki or a 200 Yammy on it.

jldsc 06-11-2013 07:18 PM

I had a 21 kenner plain jane and dry storage sucks...go with the loaded model and dont look back

Take a look at specs btw the in- line 4 yam 200 and suzuki 175. Compare the two.

I would recommend the 175 Suzuki all day over the 200 Yamaha unless you want to spend the money on the SHO.

I get exact same numbers on mine that Alphman posted.
