Don't think so. Think it's all linked to CPU. I could be wrong. Is it a standalone meter or is it in sequence with rest of digital displays?

Its a stand alone.
Got boat the back today and it had 45hrs on it. Had 18 when I brought in for 20hr service. But Its all good:)
Ill just disconnect it for 27 hrs.and then ill be back on track. :beer:

Did he slime up your fish box? Might a ran a few charters while they had your boat. HaHa

My buddys is same way, when the key is on the hour meter is running. He has his radio and electronics all hooked up to key switch. He always listens to his radio when not running all the while putting hours on the hour meter. If you leave key on even when not running then hour meter is turning.
