Friday me and my son took a ride. South end of the lake water was really nice. Picked up 20 before the tide slacked. Attachment 52864Attachment 52865

Sat- took my 86yr old grandfather out on the night stalker. Wind and tide was not in our favor but we still manage 106trout.

Awesome to get your grandfather out there. Was he able to fish, what did he think of it?

Hey T-top, about how long does it take for the fishing to turn on once yall got anchored up and turned the lights on?

Yes, he fished the whole time! Didn't get back to the lodge til 3:30am. Stayed up while we cleaned fish and all. He's a tuff ole bird, I think Jason enjoyed him being there as much as grandpa did! He was impressed with the setup he had heard about it for years just never able to get him down for a trip.

It just depends on the tide. Sometimes as soon as lights come on. Sometimes have to wait on the tide switch. Never really got real good last night.

Most nights you need about 45 minutes but sometimes they are there quickly and occasionally you have to wait on the tide.
