Well I guess I should introduce myself

My name is Aubrey. I live out here in Vidrine...just on the good side of Mamou. I grew up hunting and fishing with duck hunting being my number one hobby along with bass fishing. Had an epic duck season last year and am super excited for this season. I am also new to saltwater fishing but I must say I fell in love after the first few trips. I look forward to posting up my fishing and hunting reports and just having a good time with all you guys!

My sister-n-law lives in vidrine with her boy freind. I really like it over there and it wouldn't take much talk to get me to move there.

We call it....."God's country"

DUCKGOGETTER 07-22-2013 11:24 AM

Yep we went and spent the weekend there and that's what her boyfreind called it all weekend. It pretty mush has everything hunting and fishing wise to do with in driving distance.

There really is no better way to describe it....I can be in a duck blind in 7 minutes....a deer stand in 20 minutes.....bass fishing in 10 minutes...Lake Charles in an hour.....and Toledo Bend in just under two hours....it doesn't get much better
