Saturday Evening Meal
My sister and brother-in-law were in town from Missouri and leaving today so I decided to cook dinner for them last night. The menu was French green beans smothered with Rotel tomatoed and chicken andouille(bil supposedly can't eat red meat so I got some chicken andouille from Bailey's in Laplace), smashed new potatoes, corn casserole, homemade rolls(actually a packaged roll mix that I didn't like but everyone else did), grilled pork tenderloin, grilled split Cornish hens, and abt's as an appetizer. Dessert was Apple Cobbler with vanilla ice cream. http://i1183.photobucket.com/albums/...e/DSC02614.jpg http://i1183.photobucket.com/albums/...e/DSC02613.jpg The corn casserole that my wife made actually. Deeeelicious!!!!! There was none left at the end of the meal. http://i1183.photobucket.com/albums/...e/DSC02627.jpg Oh, I almost forgot about the salad. We did have a Spring Baby Geen salad with Creole tomatoes and a fantastic vinaigrette recipe I got from the local newspaper.
