Sourwood honey

1 Attachment(s)
Just got 4 gallons of fresh sourwood honey in from Tennessee. This stuff is by far the best honey I've ever tasted and I'd consider myself a connoisseur of honey. I've tasted dozens of types from all over the country. And to date, sourwood is still at the top of my list. This will all be going into miniature mason jars to give as wedding favors in September. I don't know much about honey, but usually anything in a mason jar is special!

Sourwood is by far the way to go. Definitely worth ordering some

Just did a little reading about it, seems that a good crop may come through once every 10 years! Sounds like some good stuff

My grandfather keeps bees and has been making honey as long as I can remember, gonna have to try and get ahold of that sourwood.

Foods of the smokies sourwood honey is the best. It is sold by the smoky mountain national park. But I don't see any for sale on their site yet but they harvest in July and August so may be available in a few weeks
