Houston River 7/28
 

Hit the river this morning. Water was low. Structure I fished yesterday was out of the water. The water dropped about 2 feet last night. I ended with 26 sacs, 3 bass, and 3 goggle eyes. Today fished 18in to 4ft deep. I fished to the log jam up river of Hwy 27. Water quality isn't as good north of the oxbow as it is down river.

How far do you think they will go? I hope not past the launch. But that's a pipe dream.

I've heard they are going as far as they can possibly go , west past the hwy 27 bridge

They will be there for a long time. There are lot of huge trees in the river. Looks like I will be putting out brush piles for next year.

I don't know if they can get their barge rig beneath the Anthony Ferry bridge :cool: ...

You must drive a 4 door Toyota, the trailer was still dripping water when I got there and there was a wake trail heading North...
