Andrew and Missy Wylie, Gus Coombs, and Lynn Watson joined me yesterday. We left out of The Reel Inn Lodge at day break. Our first stop only produced a couple reds in the shallow ponds. Our next stop had us on a steady bite as everyone was battling the bronze backs!! Gus and Lynn were in town from Canada and had never caught reds before. Gus's first ever red measured 29 inches, he loved the battle!! After filling up the box we left the reds biting to go check some other areas. We found a few more reds and bass to hit the gold spoons and Matrix Green Hornets. It was a fun day fishing with this group, thanks guys.
