Ayre's In Beaumont - Another Round

I posted a thread a few weeks back about my horrible experience with Ayre's Truck Accessories In Beaumont. Well after posting on here and a few other places I figured I would let the BBB know about this excellent service they have to offer. I filed a complaint with them and 2 weeks later I received a letter from the owner of Ayre's stating that if I did not stop with the BBB complaint that he would press charges on me for "the vulgar language" I used when they locked me in the gates of their building. He also stated that my language was "very offensive and emotionally damaging." I found this extremely amusing and figured I would share. This just confirmed my thoughts on a childish, piss poor ran business.

SO he will press charges on you for the verbal battery you inflicted on him when he illegally detained you?.............. That should work out good for him.

Rediculous

For sure let him have it!! A judge would throw those charges out fast as he pressed them

I would send him a letter back with every other word a curse word

I brought that point up to the genius rent-a-cop they sent over there when it all went down and I was told "You could leave at anytime, all you had to do was walk through the building and take off walking"...as if I would leave my truck there and start walking down I-10. He was a real a** clown.

send the letter you received from him to the BBB.

If I were you, I would also write to the State Attorney General Consumer Fraud Division.

Thanks for that suggestion. I am going to do that right now.

If the owner wouldn't have been such a moron with me and realized that wouldn't be the last bumper I ever bought he could have made future business off of me. Especially since I bought a new truck last week and will be putting a front bumper, step rails, drag up tank and toolbox in it. I hope he put that $487 to good use because he won't be getting a single penny from me now.
