Sonny Lovell, Kay & Jackson Nelson joined me on the big Bluewave today. A early morning storm had us waiting at the Lodge before we could depart. Upon arriving at our first stop we had the drags ripping right from the get go. Little 8 yr old Jackson had a blast battling the hefty bronze backs!! Kay and Sonny got in on the action also. It looked like the fish were really going to turn on but instead the bite went dead. We made a few moves checking other locations not having the success I hoped for. We called it a day before noon and headed in. Great time with these guys, especially watching Jackson reel in all the reds he hooked. Thanks again Sonny.
