Man, those courses are ridiculous to anyone with two pieces of common sense!...But, then, you look around you in that room and, suddenly, you realize why all of these lectures and, rules exist!:rotfl::work:

Common Sense!!! Try being a Safety Professional, and to a company that really cares about its employees, common sense is not so common. SO many incidents that are investigated stupidity must be ruled out first and no preconceived notions. Then figure out what system broke down that allowed the incident to occur.
Like we used to say in the Ordnance World, all regulations and safety precautions were "written in blood". Many stupid things occur, but it is never know or predicted when someone will place themself in the line of fire. Some folks get it while others just do the back yard redneck stuff. Also lots of procedures that create the dull training is the Work Comp crusaders, not hard to pick out, heck who would not want to get hurt at work, and then sit at home and collect a check for 1/3 less they were making, while sitting they watch William Shattner, "The Hammer" on TV to gather their buisness.
