I'm looking to do some bow hunting and do not have a boat to go in by boat. Does anybody know of any areas where it aint loaded with other hunters ? Not looking to get on anyone's "spot" just wondering if there are any areas up there where I might be able to walk in and not run into others. Thanks

I have a lot of Louisiana public land experience... If you stick to bowhunting only times it usually isn't too crowded but a general rule is that if access is easy there will be more folks... Try to venture off the main paths... Use aerial photos and mark all the 4 wheeler trails... Find the area least accessible and scout it... Most WMA's allow you to retrieve game with an ATV so if you can get in there and get one, you can get a little technology assist on getting it out
