burn ban???
is calcaseu or cameron parish in a burn ban? I want to spend some time on the sand and that means I would like to have my pit goin but I don't need mr. green jeans sniffin aroun! Can I light my pit on tha sand?

No burn ban in cal parish. I've been burning steady for weeks(cleared 6acres) been burning big piles of trees and mulch in carlyss. No problems |

Until it is lifted. :D
We will have to get some widespread significant rain first. If the forecast holds for Friday and Saturday I think it would be lifted the first part of the week.
Just an FYI hunter44i8 is a fulltime firefighter and I am his retired BOSS. Ppfftttt

Oh and Cameron and vermillion parishes are not in the burn ban area.
