It was comparing price for me,meaning comparing the same boat and everything in it to the same boat and everything in it at a different dealer.I found a cheaper price but there was less equipment in one, have to watch that kind of stuff.

Deciding on a boat that is the best compromise. We all want a smooth dry ride, but the attributes that give a smooth dry ride also cause the boat to have a deeper draft. With fuel prices being what they are we want a boat to be as economical as possible. Generally speaking, the things that make a boat more economical (less V and a little less HP) also have their disadvantages. Do you value storage or a more open boat? There are always compromises, so finding the sweet spot is trickiest for me.

Finding a compromise between budget and desire

Finding an owner that cared for it and set it up the way I would. Almost gave up, then found someone in here with an unlisted boat and we had identical taste and are equally meticulous.

It's easy to spot a boat (or vehicle for that matter) that has been cleaned and serviced to sell vs one that has been kept clean and maintained properly - finding the latter is the challenge.

The more that is added to the boat in addition to factory components, the more headaches - and potential for them - you will have.

Trying to Decide if I want to buy a NEW boat or USED boat. Do I want OLD boat problems with SOME to NO WARRANTY or NEW boat problem with up 6 years warrenty.
That decision was very simple being that I had to used boats before my NEW ONE.
