Lake P 11/17
 
Fished the causeway sunday morning until a little after lunch. Finished up with 42 trout from 13-23" 2 flounder and a red. Forgot to get pics before they were cleaned.

How long is the bit going to last out there? Also What landing should I launch from in order to fish the causeway ill be coming from lafayette. Ive never fished there. I want to take my track coach fishing he lives in donaldsonville. Thanks

It will last thru december depending on temps. You can launch at the mandeville harbor public launch. Watch the wind very carefully the lake can get very rough.

What tide station do I look at for that area also?

It might eat a chop but that lake gets more than choppy.

Mother freaker! When I get back from my hunting trip I'm hitting the causeway! Should be the second weekend of Dec I think.

Bayouchub is correct. To the east at the trestles tide means everything. At mid lake on the Causeway, it's negligible.
