Does size matter...
What do you look for — as far as components and size — in a livewell system on a #fishing #boat?

Of course size matters. Just ask any honest woman and she'll tell you she wants her live well filled up full. ;)

Size dont matter as long as.....
Has to have stable walls. And cant be all beat up inside. Maybe hard to keep the bait stay alive while boat is moving. Being that it keeps loosing water. live well needs to hold water. Cant have a dry live well and expect the bait to live :D:cool:

That's reasonable requirements for many things in life :D ....... Not sure if you were playing along with duckman or being serious, but this made me laugh.

Well does size matter?
A big ol sloppy bait well might not hold as good as a smaller one?
And no matter how big the net is, it still dont touch the walls in a huge live well, so get a smaller one and you can use a standard size bait net in it instead of a extra wide one

Yeah that rear livewell tends to get a lil messy at times!

Rear livewells arent for spur of the moment use but with careful preparations it can be as usable as the front livewell.

It really doesn't matter which type you go with. Just make sure you clean it out after using it. If you let it sit, it can get a lil funky the next time you go to use it

I like the front one too because i can sit on the cushons and reach the front live well....and by all means, DO NOT let it smell like rotten skrimps...will ruin your day everytime you have to dig in there! :D
|
I would avoid livewells with carpet lids, stuff can get smashed on them just a regular clean lid is perfect and easy go clean
