Hunting report for the first two weeks
 

Been too busy to post, and really haven't taken any pictures of all our birds this year.
Opening JB Saturday/Sunday/Monday was average hunting. Mosquitoes definitely made their appearance. Killed mostly Greys and teal.
Hunted Tuesday Wednesday Thursday on river, producing limits of Woodys every morning.
Skipped Friday, went to JB Saturday. Brought Shawn and his Brother on one fun hunt killing a whooping 5 birds. Terrible shooting and boat problems can take the blame for that.
Skipped Sunday hunting.

Season hasn't been the best, but it's been a fun one so far. Will be back to shootin wood ducks before school tomorrow.
Took a little buddy down to JB past Monday. He had a blast. Yes there are some coots on the stringer for a gumbo.

Nice job. I wish I had anything to report but it's the worst I've ever seen it in Sabine. Gonna try Lacassine this weekend.

I've heard mixed reports from Sabine.. It will get better I imagine.
Tomorrow's hunt should be stupid. Been watching these birds come to this pond since October. Flooded timber hole. Teal and woodies.
