12/15 Woodie Hunt
 

Headed out behind the house Sunday morning with Micah for a little change of scenery. The birds werent as plentiful as they were on the previous trip and we got buzzed by a flock of 6... but still managed to get the only two that came into the deeks. Not bad for a 30 minute hunt.

Sounded like a warzone on the river as well... most shots I've heard fired all year.

Up north it would be a duck meca... Nice little prairie with scattered pot holes. just no ducks around this area other than woodies. Saw prolly 40-50 this morning flying that treeline in the sunrise. 4 came over high and due to poor shooting I only got 1. oh well it... it was nice to be able to shoot a duck before work.
