Redneck Technology...True Story

5 Attachment(s)

This is a true story with pictures to support it. I thought this would be the best thread to post it in, so here goes. This is we how you make due, with what we have, when at camp. We forgot the tin snips so this is how you cut stove pipe for the new stove at the camp....

First, find a log to fit up the pipe to hold it steady and lay it on the old stove

Second, find the tools to use, in this case a steak knife and hammer, while you father looks on and says "You gotta be kidding"

Third, lay the steak knife on the pipe and hit it with the hammer, it seems to be working, yee haw

Fourth, it seems to be working, keep hitting the knife with the hammer till we are through the stove pipe

Fifth, dang it worked the pipe is cut but guess what....

Sixth, it didn't fit the stove so we had to grill the steaks on the improvised BBQ....Redneck Technology at it's best with the Bland men

Cheers and stay safe everyone

Lol one time we cut the Tin too for a stand with a hatchet. Didn't look pretty but it worked.
