Thinking about making a mid day trip, I'm bored and my gf will be home all day. Y'all think they going to have lock jaw from the previous front and west wind? Will the water be to low, we only had a north wind for one day, please advise.

I don't know,my Boat is frozen from being outside all day and night...I feel sorry for her.

I was planning on making a midday/afternoon trip but I'm just playing the weekend by ear now after this weather...My boat is still frozen too

no weirs but my boys want reds. They are coming from baton rouge so we won't get there till noon. It should be on in my hole.

I've been pre-chilling my yeti all day

i'm not buying any ice. i left my YETI outside all day. FREE ICE

I'll be using frozen croaker to keep temperature sub-zero

That explains the freeze we are having, bring that thing inside so we can thaw

Not gona be on the lake but i'll be on the surf. Goin red huntin tomorrow. Had to rake/sweep snow and ice out the bed of the truck so I could load the gear. Gona be on the beach with cold beer and the grill smoking. Hopefully the reds will be there. Gona be a good day either way. Good luck and be safe out there everybody. John

It could be worse in the morning than it was today with all that precip freezing on the road, be safe man!!!

Will do brudda. Thanks. Its normally a 3 hour drive for us. Im planning on 4 hours tomorrow. Cant wait to be fishing but my family aint worth a redfish. Gona take our time and get there when we get there. Everybody be safe out there tomorrow. Good luck and God speed. If ya get bored or cold i'll be on the beach between holly and cameron. The grill is gona be full of wings, sausage, and boudin. Buddybeagle is suppling the boudin.

Took us 5 hrs from youngsville to leeville. Roads are bad! Be extra careful man !
