Tensas Ducks 1-25
 

Headed to the camp Friday morning with a buddy of mine to go meet my dad at the camp despite all the road closures. We had to take a detour cuz I-49 was closed. From Port Barre to Ferriday the roads were bad, but we took our time and pressed on.

When we got to the camp there was so much ice built up on the truck we had to roll the back windows down and yank on the doors to get them open to unload our gear. We took off to check on some spots and we found them at our second stop, a nice hole.

When we got up Saturday morning it was 19 degrees. COLD, but the ducks were flying. We got our 9 woodys before 7 am and we picked away at the rest of our limit of 7 greys and 2 mallards till we finished at 10:30.

This morning we tried the other end of the hole cuz more big ducks wanted in on that side but that move bit us in the butt cuz we scratched this morning. All in all it was a great weekend to end the season.

I got wet Friday while scouting at this is my pants after a while. FROZEN.
