Kalon Johnson met me at The Reel Inn and we jumped onboard the Gator Tail. We went adventure off the beaten path to see what we could find, but didn't have much luck. We took a ride to the honey hole and struck gold. After putting our limit into the K2, it was catch n release!! We left the fish biting to go do some mud riding in the skinny water/mud. Once we got the video footage we needed we went check one more spot. We found the reds even stacked thicker than our previous spot. We caught and released countless fish then we called it a day after running out of film and battery life in the GoPros!!! All fish caught on Matrix and Vortex Shad. Most caught with a slow retrieve bumping the bottom, but we did have 4-5 hit under a cork. Great day and great company. Good times for sure!!
