Had the itch to catch some fish yesterday. Left work a little early and grabbed the jigging pole, some jigs and a slip cork.

Tried in one of our ponds last Saturday with no luck but hit the other one yesterday at about 4:45.

Caught 11 sacs and 1 bass in about half an hour. Not much size to them yet but will keep an eye on them.

Caught on black/chartreuse jig under a slip cork about 14" deep

What area you fishing.. My buddy has a 10 acre interstate pond and he was talking about going Sunday... They mopped up last year at the end of February/ beginning of March.

Near Washington, la

We start catching good by end of feb. The smaller pond we only catch a few at a time but some slabs. The big pond we can mop up with a few people. We try to catch as many as we can.
