Any GI/Elmer's reports?

Anyone been surf fishing grand isle or Elmer's island lately? Might make a trip with this warm weather and north wind tomorrow.

Probably catch some reds. Still too early to get on trout

Agreed, I think with as cold as we have seen things it might be April before that starts.

Way to early for trout. Might have some bull reds

Clean/clear water on Elmers and GI Sunday. Lots of dolphins playing in the surf, but couldn't pay for a bite. Fished the jetties with Live cocahoe's, Matrix shad (Many colors, mostly UV), Top water (Different variety), Dead shrimp, cut mullet, and softshell crabs.

Pretty day to hang out on the beach and practice my retrieve, but water temp was too cold for anything. Guess I'll wait until April like I usually do.
