Certified Mechanics in Lafayette Area

Who do you trust most with your Merc outboard?

Montauk in 3 2 1

Redmonds is pretty solid. Little pricey but I guess you get what you pay for.

What about non-certified????? White boy to poor to be paying for people with papers! I need me a good shade tree mechanic. :grinpimp:

What are you trying to do?

Goooh 02-25-2014 11:12 AM

Service work, and start a relationship with someone that I can trust to get me back on the water if I do have problems down the road.

I'm a shade tree mechanic and can do everything that needs to be done, but my hand doesn't carry much weight when warranty work comes knocking

Montauk's Dad just came take the lower unit off of my Yamaha for yearly service.

I am pretty sure that he specializes in Yamaha's but it is worth a shot.

He does work on merc's but he prefers working on yamaha. Everyone is about the same price. 95 an hour plus parts.
