The Point.

Did fairly well in the Cove at the point this weekend. Looks like LSU (Purple and gold) was the ticket. Any one else had any luck? Weather was beautiful.:)

what day did you go?

we went saturday water was ok.. the weater was definitely beautiful.. caught about 20-25

You can catch some hogs in the cove this time of year and Lsu seems to always be the go to color with glow/chartreuse a close second.

Thanks for the Open hospitality:), The wife and I got back late, I clean a few while she fired up the hot grease. So sorry no pics. Plan to try again this weekend.

We Fished the Lake Friday. 16 Trout and 2 nice Reds
Hunted Saturday and Sunday.
Boat partner " Tomball Tiger" is a good Red net man. :)

Ooopppps, also welcome aboard speck attack.
Our fish was caught on chartruse coccaho jigs.
I'm a newbie also and still trying to work out my bugs with the pic's.
