With a beautiful day in the forecast my customers and I set out to put some memories in the books and some fish in the box. Today in the Skeeter was Byron Toups and his son Tristan. Beautiful water, very little wind, and a perfect sunrise had my mind made up that the day was already a success. The bite started out slow and on the bottom with most feeling like dead weight. As the day progressed the fish started sticking the baits a little harder. We worked over the marsh in Lake Mechant and the guys had a blast!
