Just got back from meeting with stepdads DRs
 

Well we went and spoke with the drs, chaplain and hospice. They are giving him an antibiotic right now for a uti caused by the cancer. If they continue to give it they are saying about a month. It's just prolonging his life right now. Without it days maybe week or two. Decided to stop the antibiotic and make him comfortable.

Sorry to hear the news TTM... Best thing to do is to make him comfy & begin family grief preparations! I'm sure everyone will need a shoulder to lean on!

My father passed and i understand your grief. The man upstairs will take him up only when he is ready. I had a short chance to say goodbye not wanting to understand why. Cherish the days and understand he will be in a better place.

Thanks guys. It hasn't hit my mom yet but when it does its gonna be bad. I agree with longcast cancer sucks. I lost my grandfather from cancer, my dad from cancer, my mom had kidney cancer and now my stepdad.
