HEY I LAUGHED AT FIRST TOO BUT THEN I STARTED THINKING OF THOSE REELS WITH SHORT STEMS THAT HAD ME HITTING MY KNUCKLES ON THE BAIL AT TIMES (I TEND TO GRIP AT THE FORWARD PAD) SO I CAN SEE THIS BEING HELPFULL EVEN IF IT ISNT VERY PRACTICAL

Seems like this would help w/ corpal tunnel and / or tennis elbow.

i think for that the pole might get ripped out you hands if you aren't holding under the rod with anything first big fish to hit you and SLIP OOPS rod falls right out of your hands!
