What's your worst months fishing every year based on consistency?

April wind wise by far......is the worst but if the winds lay you can smoke em

That actually doesn't look too bad for April ;-)

Outside of being safe, the fish are there and if you find glass minnows in april you will smoke them for sure. I find the wind will push the currents around and end up push the glass minnows into certain areas and that's where the fish will be. I also find that dirty water doesn't matter too much either... find those fish and choose your travel routes...get out there and have some fun.

haven't seen glass minnows in big lake yet this year.

You will not see glass minnows in Big Lake until Late May.... you can find them way up north around 210 but not in Big Lake until later on

Glass Minners are thick across the channel from the Port of Lake Charles. Saw some this morning when I took my big boat out for a ride. They were getting their atzes smacked by small fish, but couldn't tell what was hitting them. Looked like smaller Croakers.

Caught some glass minnows with our mirrodines 2 weeks ago in the lake. Pull your bait up and a minnow would be on the hook sideways. The minnows were there the trout were there also just not real active. I was with Sam (contraband charters).

Same here. Actually caught three different kinds of little fish in dines and rat-l-traps
