Toledo Bend???

ok guys, I am going to the bend this weekend. I make it there once a year for a tournament with friends. the issue is that they are up there pre fishing for 2 days and we get up there Friday night and fish Saturday morning.

This year we have lucked out and are headed up early Friday morning. We will be fishing the 1215 area.

Any reports, or tips would be appreciated!

man, we fished 6 mile last weekend and had good success with small lizards and a few fish on flukes, our boat caught 20-25 fish, best 5 would have went prolly 12 pounds

A week ago I had a blast with watermelon candy & mardi gras flukes in very shallow grass basically fished as a topwater lure.

You are in a good area. I just got home and did real well in Patroon on Watermelon candy fluke in shallow water with a nail in it to get to bottom through grass. The VIP area was on fire
